With your purchase of a 2021-W Proof American Eagle 35th Anniversary Congratulations Set 1 oz Silver Coin in this Provident Metals listing, you will receive a coin that has been certified near-perfect by the NGC. Coins in this condition exhibit full, original mint luster and have no more than two minor detracting flaws. Acceptable flaws at this grade level include only minuscule contact marks and hairlines located outside the primary focal points.
UCAM specimens are ultra-cameo coins with strong, frosted designs above deeply-mirrored, clear fields. First Release coins are those received for grading within 30 days of the initial release by the US Mint. Please note, these coins are in NGC slabs and not the original Congratulations Set packaging.
Obverse
Walking Liberty is found on the obverse of all 2021-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins. This design shows Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon. The American flag is draped around her shoulders as she carries branches of oak and laurel. The inscriptions on this face of the coin include Liberty, In God We Trust, and 2021.
Reverse
Heraldic eagle is featured in the reverse design of 2021-Proof American Eagle Silver Coins from the 35th Anniversary Congratulations Set. The coin design on this surface is that of the heraldic eagle as modernized in 1986 by John Mercanti. The image features the bald eagle supporting the US national shield with a triangular cluster of 13 stars over its head. The inscriptions on this side read United States of America, 1 oz. Fine Silver One Dollar, and the W mint mark of the West Point Mint.
