The designs follow the female allegory representative of the Germanic people. In 2022, she explores new lands in the obverse design. Highlights:
The Germania Series focuses on modern interpretations of the female allegory known as Germania. Originally used in the Roman Era to refer to the lands beyond the borders of the Roman Empire in Central Europe, the term was then associated with the Germanic tribes living in those regions. By the Medieval Era, Germania was associated with the Holy Roman Empire.
Obverse
Germania is on the obverse side of 10 oz Silver Germania Rounds. This design shows a barefooted Germania stepping ashore from her ship as she takes the first steps onto new land. With the Reichsschwert in her right hand and a shield in her left, Germania is ready to tackle this new land. While there is a double-headed eagle on her shield, there is also a double-headed eagle soaring by her side to provide a lookout for Germania in this new land. Inscriptions on this face of the round include GERMANIA, 2022, 10 OZ, AG, and 999.9.
Reverse
For the reverse design of the Silver 2022 Germania Round, the mint features its well-known seal. The symbol of the Germania Mint features a front-facing, double-headed eagle with lightning bolts clutched in its talons and olive branches flanking the design. Inscriptions on this side read 50 MARK and GERMANIA.
History
The progress of the Germania Series at the Germania Mint offers new designs that follow her leadership of the German people. The 2021 design shows Germania at sea on her vessel, while the new 2022 design shows her arriving at her destination.

Your 10 oz Silver 2022 Germania Round is available in a protective capsule. The rounds in the 10 oz silver weight have a mintage of just 1,000 rounds in total, one of the lowest in the series.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
